Ultra-precision diamond tools are widely applied in the optical industry for the machining of various optical components, including concave and convex lenses, dry interferometric optics, and Fresnel lenses.

As a result, we are capable of producing tools with a machining radius of up to R200 mm and achieving a surface waviness of 10 nm. Even for tools with large arc radii, the waviness can be effectively controlled within 100 nm.

The minimum achievable tool nose angle is 15°, and under high-magnification microscopy, the cutting edge appears smooth and free of defects. The surface roughness of both the rake face and the flank face reaches 2 nm, ensuring exceptional cutting performance and surface quality in ultra-precision machining applications.

Ultra Precision Diamond Milling Tool

The diamond milling tol is used for machining molds or free-form surface of microstructures and can ensure that the axial and radial accuracy of the cutting point is within 0.001 mm range.
